There is misinformation in the news that
“Pinasara ng DENR Region 3 ang Vitarich
Corporation sa Bulacan dahil sa paglabag nito sa Clean Water Act.”
To correct this error, please be assured that Vitarich Corporation
continues to operate, and it has not been closed. Operations continue normally in various parts of the country, Luzon, Visayas
and Mindanao.
The news report only pertains to the Vitarich Dressing Plant that is
operated by a busines partner. The business partner voluntarily
closed last Saturday, and has undertaken to address all the issues raised by the DENR. Vitarich and its business partners shall always strive to comply with applicable laws, including especially
the “Clean Water Act.”
